Grace Home has access to, & is more than happy to link Veterans to various services throughout the community including:
Eagle's Healing Nest offers comprehensive programming designed to meet the needs of all service men and women. They will provide board and lodging to our military to prevent homelessness.
A court supervised treatment program for defendants who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. The Eighth Judicial District Veterans Court is a problem solving court that serves veterans charged with a criminal offense, who are struggling with addiction, serious mental illness, and/or co-occurring disorders.
A transitional home for female veterans.
The strategy behind Grace Haven is to empower unhoused women to improve their situation through stable housing, addressing mental health and/or addiction issues and finding stable employment. Within a homelike environment, Grace Haven provides food, clothing, and housing. Within the community, we ensure access to education and job training when indicated. Grace Haven of Great Falls is led and supported by St. Vincent DePaul of North Central Montana. Consistent with the SVDP mission to give priority to the most rejected by society, we work with people, organizations, and outreaches to help meet unhoused female veterans’ greatest needs. We have been serving male veterans using this approach for 6 years at the very successful Grace Home also in Great Falls.
